The Disability, Livelihoods and Poverty project focuses on understanding the dynamics of disability, livelihoods and poverty from the voices of persons with disabilities themselves. ESCAP is partnering with disabled persons organisations (DPOs) in eight countries to conduct both quantitative and qualitative action research to generate new data on the livelihoods of persons with disabilities in the Asia-Pacific region.
